Each week, WSJ readers vote for their favorite home featured as a House of the Day. Four properties vied in the latest poll, including an Old World-style party house in Georgia  and a lakeside estate in  Michigan. Watch the video above or see the slideshow to find out which home took top billing.

The contenders were:

Ground Floor on Lake Michigan: A lakeside home in Singapore Dunes, the proposed mixed-use development of energy executive Aubrey McClendon, is on the market for $10 million.

Motion on the Water in Connecticut: Lapping waves and the sea breeze inspired the design of this contemporary home on the Long Island Sound.

Tucked Away in Ossining: A five-bedroom home believed to have been the carriage house of a historic New York estate is on the market for $919,000, with access to a local nature preserve from the garden.

Southern Exposure in Georgia: Flanked by French doors that lead to manicured gardens, this European-inspired home is primed for summer fetes.
